Modish Designs and Boutique Announces Transition to Online-Only Operations, Closing Storefront Due to Non-Renewal of Lease

Hartford, SD – Modish Designs and Boutique, regrets to announce the closure of its physical storefront. After 4 years of serving our valued customers in the heart of Hartford, we have made the difficult decision to transition to an online-only platform due to the non-renewal of our lease. Actual last day of business at the storefront has not been determined at this time but lease will expire June 30th, 2023.

By shifting our focus to an online boutique model, we are confident that we can continue to provide an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers. We believe that embracing this change will allow Modish to adapt to the evolving needs and preferences of our customers while continuing to offer exceptional quality, style, and service. While also freeing up more time to do more of the things I love outside of the store.

While bidding farewell to our physical storefront is undoubtedly bittersweet, we are grateful for the support and patronage of Hartford and the Surrounding Community. The decision was a difficult one, but we are committed to embracing this new chapter and providing our loyal customers with an even more enhanced shopping experience.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that this transformative change will unlock new opportunities for us to invest additional time and resources into fulfilling custom and wholesale tee orders. By devoting more attention to these specialized requests, we can ensure an even more personalized and tailored experience for our customers, bringing their unique visions to life in extraordinary fashion.

But that's not all! We're taking the excitement to new heights as we explore the possibility of bringing the essence of our boutique directly to you. We're currently envisioning the setup of our boutique at local events and private shopping parties. Stay tuned for updates as we strive to create unforgettable moments of fashion and style in your own community.

As we make this transition, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our new website. Our redesigned online platform will feature exciting additions, including an expanded range of products and innovative ways to shop. We invite our valued customers to stay tuned for the unveiling of our new website, where they can explore an even wider selection of curated collections, discover new arrivals, and experience fresh ways to enhance their shopping journey.

We want to provide you with the necessary information regarding returns, exchanges, and gift certificates during this transition.

Returns and Exchanges: If you have any items that are eligible for returns or exchanges within the 14-day window before the store closes, we kindly ask you to bring them to the store. Our staff will assist you in processing your request.

After the storefront closes, we request you to refer to our returns and shipping policies, which will be available on our website. These policies will provide you with the necessary instructions and guidelines for any future returns or exchanges.

Gift Certificates and Generic Cards: If you possess any paper gift certificates or generic cards, we encourage you to utilize them before the storefront closure. Our store will honor these certificates and cards during the remaining open period. Additionally, we are offering updated gift cards to replace those older versions.  Cards with our logo on them can be used online or at any pop-ups even after the store closes. Please visit the store to obtain the updated cards or if you have any questions about gift cards.

Closeout Sales: To help reduce our inventory before the closure, we will be offering sales at closeout pricing. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to take advantage of discounted prices on all items. Please note that all sales made during this period will be final, and items purchased cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are found to be faulty or damaged.
